Lilly liver

The term Lilly liver comes from the one and only " ice age " I love this movie with all of my heart. The rearm Lilly liver is used when syd the sloth is making fun of Diego. Diego is scared of water so syd calls him a Lilly liver. Okay so you are all probably wondering why this is important. Well I am also a Lilly liver. I am not scared of water but, I am scared of:

Lightning and thunder.. Yes I know thunder can't do anything to you but I hate it!

The dark. This includes walking into the dark by myself. I don't like the unknown.

Spiders. The more I fear them the more I see them. I am the only one that can spot a spider at my house.

Yes, I am becoming more brave in my old age. The last 2 night I slept in my own bed all by myself when the rain storms hit. However my mom being the gem that she is put my car in the garage last night because I was to scared. She is a champ. Thanks for understaning me mom.

Yes, I do walk downstairs to my garage every morning... But if I hear a noise I will run back upstairs and ask my dad if he wouldn't mind escorting me down to my car. He never makes a big deal out of it and he never makes fun of me.....( truth is he is scared too.) he is also a champ.

Yes, I have learned that I can be in the same room while a spider is being killed but the in no way I could ever kill one. Big thanks to Riley, flo, and momma for helping me with this one.

Many of you are probably wondering why I am admitting this to the blog world?

The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem.

End of story.

My grandpa harward

My grandpa passed away August 12. It has been really hard to see my family so sad. It is weird not saying goodbye to him every time I leave my grandma's house. As hard as these things are I know that my grandpa is in a much better place. He is free of pain and that makes me so happy.

The two weeks before he passed we all spent lots of time together as a family. I don't remember a lot of it but I do remember that It was nice to say are goodbyes. the funeral went really well. My grandpa has done lots of great things in his life and it was good to be reminded of them. My mom, dad, and cousin brad spoke. They all did amazing. It is just want grandpa would have wanted. I said the opening pray. I was so nervous. I thought that I would brake down and cry but I pulled myself together and it went pretty well..... I think.

I love my family so much. My grandma is one amazing lady. She is so strong. She is always putting other people before her. I want to be like her when I grow up.

Oh how I love my family.

Tim McGraw ........so good looking!!!!!! 8/6/2011

A week before the concert Riley sent me a message at work saying that he had a surprise for me. Instead of making him tell me I decided to play along. When he got off work he came to my house to show me the surprise. I was in heaven. 2 grass seat tickets!!! ( the grass seat thing is important). I was so excited!!!!!! So the day came and after a long day of wedding stuff I was so ready to go. As we were driving I remembered that we had forgotten a blanket. So yes we had to stop and buy one.... That was an adventure! We finally arrived, got into the long line, got through the long line, found seats on the grass, and waited...... When the concert was about to start I noticed a ticket man that was giving something away to the people next to us. At first I didn't think anything of it and then I noticed that the man was given away stadium seating tickets. After begging Riley to go get some he finally did. ( I would have done it myself but......let's face it, I. Don't. Like. Strangers. ) once we got the tickets we went down to are new seats! I was in love. It was a great night. People watching, gross drunk people, weird first date people sitting next to us, over priced blanket, great candy, great seats and the one and only Tim McGraw. Riley Woods you are the best.
P.s. I planned on taking pictures..... My camera died before I even had a chance. Maybe next time!!

Summer..... Where did you go?

This summer has been nuts!!!! Planning a wedding, buying a house, working full time, having my grandpa pass away, painting our house and getting it all ready, starting school..... I could go on and on but you get the idea. Somethings were not in my plan for this summer but, that's life. all I can say is that I am so thankful for my amazing families. :) When Riley and I first got engaged I thought time was going to creep by. I was wrong. I can't believe that we only have 10 days left and we started at 156 days!!! with all the crazy stuff that has been going on it doesn't surprise me that it went so fast. Well I hope you liked this small introduction. Say tuned for all the details.
