1 month old
Avery is 1 month old today. Where does the time go??? She is so much fun and we love her so much! At one month:
*She loves to move. She has been a mover since day one.
*She loves to eat. Takes her bottle like a champ every 3-4 hours. is eating 2-3 oz at a time. The only time she really cries is when she get hungry or has a tummy ache.
*She sleeps for 3 hours at a time and likes to nap.
*She is wearing all newborn clothes. only one outfit is to small. Also in 0 sized. Diapers.
*She loves bath time.
*She loves her swinger and bouncer.
*She loves being held and loves to cuddle.
*She loves car rides.
*She loves her binky.
She hates being tickled.
She has being naked but also hates getting dressed.
She has the hiccups! She gets them all the time.
She had her first blow out diaper. lucky both me and Riley were home. :)
She is such a happy, chill baby... As long as she isn't hungry.
Happy 1 month Avery. We love you so much. These past 4 weeks have been the best. You bring so much happiness to everyone you meet. I can't imagine life without you. I could cuddle you and stare at you all day. I often wonder what you are thinking about. Thanks for choosing us to be your mom and dad. I still can't believe you are mine. You are so perfect. Everyone says you are such a pretty baby. They love your hair and all your fun headbands we make you wear. You can be a little diva and know what you want. You make the funniest faces and I love your little yawns and stretches. WE LOVE YOU Avery Kate. :)

A lot to be thankful for.
Thanksgiving this year was nice and low key. We spend the day with the Woods. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the day together. This year I have so much to be thankful for. I have an amazing husband who does so much for me, a beautiful baby girl who is perfect, two dog children that I love some much, a beautiful home, the gospel, and family members who are amazing and help us with some much. We are so blessed.

Avery kate Woods
Avery Kate Woods made it into the world on 11/06/14 @ 5:49am.
6 pounds 12 Oz 18 1/2 inch long
after long 36 hours of labor I got to see this amazing face! It all started at my 37 week appt (11/4) where I once again had high blood pressure. It was the highest it had been 160/110. Me and Riley thought the usual would happen: stress test for a half hour and we would be headed home. WRONG! After a 1 HR stress test, blood work, and ultra sound it was confirmed that we would not be going home without a baby. We checked into labor and delivery at 6:00pm. After a long 36 hour of no food, lots of vomit, no sleep, a few melts downs, and 1 hour of pushing Miss Avery was welcomed. I will never forget that moment. That moment when I became a mom. That moment when I saw Riley become a dad. That moment when I first held her and said how perfect she is. All the pain and suffering was all worth it. She brings on a whole new meaning of love. I am so grateful that she is ours forever!
First picture!
proud dad
Meeting her aunt Katee- Thats where she gets her middle name. And aunt kate will never let anyone forget it! :)
First diaper change
Going home! 11/7

36-37 weeks
Week 36-37 were both the same. so I am making them my last pregnancy update. :) And lets all take a moment to be thankful that my face and legs are back down to there normal not swollen selves. Hallelujah!
SLEEP: On and off.. Some nights are okay. I am grateful for my pregnancy pillow. I would die with out that thing. My leg cramps have come back… Not cool!
BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: Knowing that soon I will have a sweet babe to hold in my arms.
MOVEMENT: All over the place. People always say that in the last few weeks the babies movement will slow down because they are running out of room. Not this girl. She is a mover. I have never once worried about her. Her movements have always been crazy! She is a strong little thing.
SYMPTOMS: Pain all over. ha. High blood pressure that the dr. is semi worried about. I did have a stress test this week and everything seems to be okay still.
FOOD CRAVINGS: Ice chips all day everyday!!! I hate eating because everything gives me heartburn. EVERYTHING! haha the joy. I would do it all over again.
FOOD AVERSIONS: Still chicken. ehh gross!
GENDER: Baby girl!!!!
LABOR SIGNS: I have had a few contractions. Nothing to worry about. There have been a few really painful ones but ehh whatever. At my appt the Dr. said I was dilated to a 1. I am pretty sure she was just trying to be nice.
BELLY BUTTON IN OR OUT: Flatter than a pancake!
WHAT I MISS: my clothes ( even maternity are to tight!), putting on my own shoes and socks, Running, and breathing like a normal person. little lady loves my rib cage.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO:Having this baby out of me! I can't wait to see her face!!! Few more weeks and she should be here!!!

2014 general conference at the cabin
We went to Jon and Mary's cabin for conference weekend. And once again it was so fun and a much needed get away.. Family, food, conference and lots of naps! I was only able to go on one ride in the side by side due to being large and in charge at 33 weeks. I will be trying out the new 4 wheeler next time!!!!!
The new ride.
Camp fire fun!
Watching conference with this little dude.
