.....Wedding Day.....
The whole day was amazing. It started off with me waking up at 5. yep I slept like a baby ( in my mom and dad's room) until 5 when my internal alarm clock went off. (curse you going to work at 6am.)
After waking up I got ready for the day and then my cousin Amy came over and did my hair. (Amy you are amazing. Thanks for everything you did for me and my mom that day.) After that we (me, mom and dad) got into the car and off we went to the temple. What an amazing experience the temple was. Best part of the day. I am pretty sure Riley and I had smiles on are faces from the time we walked into the temple to the time we left the reception. well....minus the part where I almost got a bloody nose while taking pictures on temple square... that would have been a mess. :) Anyways, after the temple and ALL the picture taking we headed off to get all the stuff ready that we needed for the reception and our honeymoon. After that we headed off to Noah's for are great reception. Once at the reception center we started putting all the final detail together. Thank you so much for everyone who was there to help. I can't say thank you enough. Everything was perfect. The wedding cake, flowers, centerpieces, green and black lanterns, food, and picture table all looked great. After the setting up we got dressed into are wedding attire and took MORE pictures. ( Linda Mattson you are amazing. You have so much patience and I love are pictures.) After that it was the wedding line, Cake cutting, where Riley was super nice and I might smashed a small piece of cake in his face... but oh well right. You have to have some fun. Then there was the wedding bouquet toss, that Katee caught and the guarder toss that Colton caught. ( Picture to come soon. ) After that it was the father daughter dance to the one and only Tim McGraw and then Riley and I had are first dance to the one and only Tim McGraw. Tim was really popular at the wedding. After that we had a party with all of friends on the dance floor. Not to mention we got to enjoy some great snow cones from our small snow cone station at the wedding. SOOOOO GOOD!!! After dancing the night away we said goodbye to friends and family and left with a grand exit of sparklers! Thanks to everyone who decorated my car with marshmallows, swedish fish, and peanut butter cups..... I will seek revenge. :) Oh yes, I forgot about the poppers that were duct taped to the inside of the car. Thank goodness for power washers. Picture this.... Riley in his wedding attire and I in my wedding dress washing the car off at 10:00 pm. Thanks everyone. :) I will try and post wedding pictures as soon as we get them. I am so excited to see them. Well September 8th was great! Being married has been great. I love it. Riley Woods, I love you. But, it is still kind of weird when you call me your wife.. Love it!!! Stayed tuned for our great Disneyland adventure. :)
Thank you for this post! I loved reading all the details and am so glad the day went well. I'm glad you are enjoying being married and look forward to hearing about Disneyland! And seeing pictures of Katee and Colton catching the bouquet and garter ...
